Junior Recruiter

Permanent employee, Full-time · Colombo

Main responsibilities
  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and other platforms

  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates against role requirements

  • Conduct initial screening calls to assess skills, experience, and motivation

  • Book and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment trackers

  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process

  • Support the Recruiter with administrative and coordination tasks

  • Help improve recruitment processes and candidate experience

Requirements
  • 0–2 years’ experience in recruitment, HR, or a related administrative role

  • Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)

  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail

  • Comfortable using LinkedIn, job boards, and basic recruitment tools

  • Confident communicating with candidates by phone, email, and video

  • Willingness to learn and take feedback

  • A positive, proactive, and professional approach
