Main responsibilities

Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements for multiple entities (UK and Bulgarian)
Lead the month-end close process, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely reporting
Coordinate UK VAT filings and support VAT compliance activities in Bulgaria
Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Manage intercompany transactions, customer recharges, and reconciliations across entities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy and alignment with business activities
Review and support the work of local accounting team members, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
Identify and drive process improvement initiatives within the Finance department
Support external audits by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors

1+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Solid understanding of accounting principles
Strong command of English (written and spoken)
Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Effective communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Professional certifications and/or courses are going to be considered a plus
